Keeping close to studentsTransilvania University


On the 25th of November 2014, Transilvania Pack & Print hosted a group of students from the "Transilvania" University from Brasov. The University is in the process of implementing an POSDRU project entitled "Increasing the capacity of labor market integration of students and graduates through counseling and practical placements." One of the main objectives of the project is the counseling and career guidance to students, to increase the employability of graduates on the labor market. Career counseling is a welcomed support to achieve personal plans on the profession in a realistic and adapted to labor market requirements.
To achieve this goal, students participating in the project were organized into groups and made several visits and thematic tours to various successful companies in the country, as support for counseling and guidance.
Transilvania Pack & Print answered affirmative to the University and has supported the initiative in organizing a study visit with students from the Business Administration specialization in English.
At 12:30 the students have arrived in Transilvania Pack & Print yard and were greeted by Mr. Franz A. RANKL, CEO of TPP.

After learning a few things about the company, they were led into the meeting room, where they were divided into two groups of 20 students. Each group had the opportunity to visit the two production halls and the offices area, during which were explained the production flow and how the company works, from receiving an order from customers till the delivery of products.
At the end of the visit of the production units the 40 students were gathered in the lobby of the company, where they had a presentation by the quality manager and learned more about the systems implemented ISO quality management company and products delivered.
Finally, students were given the opportunity to ask questions to all members of the management company and express their opinions on those who have lived throughout the visit.

We are glad that we could support students in this project and we want in the future to have as many as possible young people to help in their training.
